Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours

Role Length: This opening assignment is for 6-12 months, likely to be extended

City: City of Bristol

The purpose of the role is to support the recruitment programme, we are looking for experienced recruitment consultants who can support managers to bring in talent and manage their recruitment activity from attraction to appointment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Housing team with the delivery of high volume specialist recruitment campaigns by providing administrative support.
Use the council’s Applicant Tracking System
Place adverts/ arrange interviews/produce offer letters/ referencing/ CV searching support
Liaise with hiring managers and candidates.
Adhere to BCC’s recruitment and selection policy to ensure fair/ transparent recruitment.

Qualifications:

CIPD Level 3 or relevant experience.



Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
Experience in a previous onboarding/administrative role.
Previous experience working within a Recruitment/HR environment.
Adhere to BCC’s recruitment and selection policy to ensure fair/ transparent recruitment.
Ability to work effectively within a pressurised environment, where priorities and deadlines are subject to change.
Experience of working with an Applicant Tracking System.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
