We are looking for a Home First Bank Service Team Leader to join our team, where we work closely with health colleagues to deliver joined up short term reablement in the community.
In addition to reablement, Home First provides a rapid and responsive short term assessment and Provider of Last Resort service across Suffolk. We are also building on our locality and partnership work as part of a wider alliance, to enable the residents of Suffolk as stay at home and live as independently as possible.
Take up this opportunity and you will be at the forefront of promoting and advertising Home First whilst seeking new recruits to join the team.

Your role and responsibilities
- take on a lead role in the training of all staff across Home First and support the service in attracting candidates to the role
- designing and delivering effective training for the workforce, ensuring that all statutory training is delivered in a timely and effective manner
- work with Team Leaders and the Manager to ensure the team maintain a continuous flow of new staff through new marketing and recruitment initiatives
- operationally manage a bank of Support Workers, as well as the Home First Training and Recruitment Leads for each area.
This will see you contribute to the effective leadership and development of Home First, as part of our Management Team delivering good quality services and effective integration between health and social care, collaborating with stakeholders and partners across the system leading to better outcomes for the people of Suffolk. Working alongside key partners, system leadership will be a major part of the role to ensure health and social care systems are joined up and accessible for Suffolk residents.

You will need:
- a good level of education to degree level / NVQ 3 Training or equivalent relevant qualification
- working experience in a training background is essential
- effective management skills to lead small teams of staff in dispersed locations
- to be self-motivated with the ability to prioritise workloads, of both self and team
- the ability to clarify tasks, plan work in advance, and prioritise work to achieve deadlines.
