We are looking for a Compliance Operations Support Officer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, hybrid working, 3 days from our Basildon offices and 2 days working from home. Mortgage file reviewing / mortgage admin experience is essential and in return, you will receive a competitive starting salary of up to £25,000 per annum depending on skills and industry experience.

The role

The Compliance Operations Support Officer accepts responsibility for providing support in the development and testing of Revolution software functionality and is also responsible for making sure all content of Competent Adviser Learning (CAL) e-learning materials are accurate and up to date.

The role also has responsibility for providing dedicated service to identified AR firms. This includes: mailbox management, completing file reviews and raising Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR).

The Compliance Operations Support Officer also helps maintain the content of CAL e-learning programmes and ensuring user access is in place for all network users, and profiles updates are made as required.

Key responsibilities


Provide feedback / approval for team-specific Revolution development
Complete file reviews and provide dedicated support to self-supervising AR firm
Keep Competent Adviser Learning (CAL) content and user access up to date
Complete Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
Generate various MI reports for senior management


Our ideal candidate


Mortgage file reviewing experience and knowledge of the regulatory requirements
Good MS Excel skills, experience with analysing data and in creating MI reports
Keen eye for detail
Probing, investigative, analytical
Assertive communicator
Ability to prioritise, manage own workload and use time productively
Able to fully satisfy the pre employment screening process which comprises of right to work, identity, 5 years referencing, AML, credit screen, financial sanctions and DBS checks
