Your role as a Cleaner:

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas to join our team of cleaners at the Cripps Health Centre which is based on University Park.

Main duties include the general cleaning of Clinic Rooms and offices, laboratories, toilets/bathrooms, staff areas and kitchens as well as corridors, stairwells and always providing excellent customer service, working either independently or as a part of a team.

This position entails providing both planned and reactive cleaning service across the building and supporting the local cleaning team with covering holidays, sickness, deep cleaning, and supporting with any urgent requests/inquiries assigned by Line Manager.

Previous cleaning experience within similar environment and ability to work independently and as part of a team are desirable but not essential as full training will be given. Further details regarding the duties for the role can be found on the attached job role profile.

Hours of Work

Hours of work are 15 per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged (mainly Monday to Friday, between 5.00pm and 8.00pm) Flexibility will be required.

This position is offered a permanent basis working on a 52-week of the year basis to include student vacation periods.

Successful candidates will be expected to attend mandatory training courses which run Monday to Friday mornings each month. Further details will be given at interview.
