Crynodeb
As a floor polisher you will install domestic, commercial and industrial flooring using a plethora of materials, you will be required to travel nationwide to various sites in order to conduct your duties.
Experience is preferred, but not essential, as full training can be provided
Job description
• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
• Polishing of concrete floors
• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.
• Polishing freshly poured cement, screed or concrete, using powered polishing tools.
• Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection.
• Polish surfaces of concrete using abrasive tools or machines.
• Performing General Physical Activities - Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Hand grinding and edging
• Meet company standards in patching and crack filling
• Operation of small and large planetary grinders
• Have an understanding of the concrete polishing process from start to finish
• Determine the correct tooling needed based on contract specs
Requirements:
• Must have a great attitude
• Work with heavy machinery
• Heavy lifting required
• On your feet for extended periods of time
• CSCS Card Preferred but not essential
• Attention to detail
• Organised

• Flexible Schedule
• Possible weekend work
