Hours: 22.5 hours per week, Part-time
Hourly rate: £11.60 per hour
Summary:
Our client, is Cornwall's only private hospital with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. This Hospital was opened in 1981 by the late HRH Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and is located in a pleasant rural setting on the outskirts of Truro.
By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The two fully equipped ultra clean air theatres are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as arthroscopy, hip replacement and knee replacements. The hospital is also equipped with a day case theatre, with endoscopy facilities.
A wide range of diagnostic and treatment facilities are available including x-ray, MRI, ultrasound, physiotherapy, sports injury clinic, continence and health screening.
The role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their Catering team, to work in the kitchen, contributing towards maintaining a safe, clean and tidy environment. Their Catering Team work a range of shifts over 7 days per week therefore candidates are required to have flexibility.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
• Food stock rotation
• Kitchen environment cleaning
• Pot wash
• Food service
• Basic cold food preparation
What you'll bring with you
• Previous Catering experience (preferred but not essential)
• Food Safety Awareness
• Ability to work in a team
• Customer care experience (desirable)
This is a Permanent, full time role and an immediate start for the right candidate.
22.5 hours split over 3 days- weekdays 8am- 4pm/ Sundays 9am- 5pm (working 2 Sundays per month)
The role will need the candidate to have a DBS check, which is all included in the offer.
