We are currently looking for a mobility sales advisor & assessor to work for our client in the Threemilestone area.
Start Date: ASAP
What we offer:

The role:
• To play a significant part in helping the Sales Supervisor meeting department income targets.
• To meet customers either in the Showroom, in their homes or at events and undertake mobility capability assessments and advise on the suitability of products which best fit their needs.
• You must ensure that all BHTA guidelines and specifications are met, and that advice relates to the patient’s condition.
• The role involves driving to relevant Hospitals, customers’ homes, Care or Nursing Homes and to undertake assessments or assist in delivery of purchased equipment. This involves some lifting and the requirement to be aware of Manual Handling concepts.
• Ensure a Quality of Service and Professionalism to all customers, Carers and other interested parties.
• Assessments will be carried out accurately to alleviate the exposure to litigation.
• To assess (including demonstrations) the suitability of products to meet the customer need, this will be carried out in both the Tremorvah Showroom, the patient’s home and Care or Nursing Homes.
• Assessments will cover needs, abilities, Health and Safety related to the equipment patient interface and will be recorded and signed as understood by the customer.
• This will on occasions include joint adviser visits with Occupational Therapists to specify slings etc.
• To sell retail goods to the public and other organisations including telephone sales.
• To make decisions on discounting prices within specific guidelines and the ability to work within specific budgets.
• In the absence of the Sales Supervisor report directly to the General Manager on sales showroom matters.
• Carry out the filing and maintenance of sales records, reconciliation of the sales till against cash, cheque and credit card payments and to ensure that cash is correctly, and safety stored.
• Maintain all brochures and update stocks and price lists, update data base on customer’s details.
• Resolve informal complaints and investigate more serious matters and assist Sales Supervisor to bring such to a conclusion.
• Replenish stock via stock orders, purchase special orders and discuss rebates on such sales.
• Driving of sales van and deliveries to client’s premises.
• Liaise with interested groups and give talks on the product ranges or method of assessment.
• Assist the Sales Supervisor with marketing work and generating sales and income.
• Undertake training as required and maintain the depth of knowledge required to enable assessments etc to be carried out to current requirements.
• Any other duties related to the post at the direction of Sales Supervisor, General Manager and Deputy/Production Manager.
Requirements:
• You must have a clean driving licence.
• You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS for this role.
• This would suit someone who has worked in the care sector and is familiar with mobility equipment.
• You must be physically fit to carry recliner chairs etc - 2-person job.
