Summary

RCCG Power House requires a Minister of Religion.

Major Responsibilities:
The duties will include evangelism, conducting prayer meetings, weddings, christenings, baptisms, funerals and other religious ceremonies, and giving spiritual advice and guidance to the congregation in the church and surrounding areas.

The applicant would be expected to preach and teach the word of God following our religious beliefs to young people and adults in the church.

The applicant would be required to research and constantly attend trainings, retreats and seminars to improve their knowledge of the scripture and its teachings.

The applicant will also be required to provide counselling and emotional and spiritual support for Parishioners and community members in times of crisis and personal emergencies.

You will be required to work a minimum of 35 hours, varied hours,
day/evening/nights and will be on call.

You should be willing to be transferred to other branches within or outside the UK to provide general pastoral care.


Essential Skills & Attributes
The prospective candidate must have the following skills & Attributes:
Must be able to prepare and preach a sermon.
Must have at least a Higher National Diploma academic qualification.
Must be familiar with the Redeemed Christian of God's doctrines and be ready to abide by the doctrines to the core.
Must be a born-again Christian with evidence of speaking in tongue.
Must be vast in the Scripture and competent to conduct or lead services such as Bible study, Sunday School, etc.
Must be a good team player as you would be required to work with other ministers of the church.
Be ready to work irregular hours which will include weekends Saturdays and Sundays especially.
Provide support for the church's Social Responsibility Program called Conveying Christ Care (CCC).
Knowledge of Yoruba Music & have good ability to play traditional drums
Have strong communication skills.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills
Speaking other languages or Yoruba dialects would be a good advantage.
