- Start Date: 2nd September 2024
- Commitment: Full Academic Year (Until July 2025)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

A fantastic, Ofsted Outstanding, Roman Catholic Primary school in Camden are looking for a Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant to join their Nursery/ Reception and Year 1 classes for the next academic year from September 2024 until July 2025. This wonderful primary school has a very tight-knit community where pupils and staff work together in creating an inclusive and welcoming environment.

We are seeking resilient and proactive individuals with lots of energy and compassion to join a wonderful and friendly team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with children in Reception (Early Years Foundation Stage) and Year 1, supporting children with special educational needs (SEN). This role involves workking closely with children with autism spectrum disorder, are non-verbal and requires you to be comfortable providing personal care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the learning and development of children in Nursery, Reception and Year 1.
- Assist children with autism spectrum disorder, ensuring they have a positive and inclusive educational experience.
- Provide personal care as needed.
- Work collaboratively with a team of skilled and experienced teachers.
- Engage actively and enthusiastically with children, fostering a love for learning.

Ideal Candidate:
- Active and enthusiastic with a genuine love for working with young children.
- Patient, compassionate, and eager to make a positive impact.
- Comfortable working with children who have special educational needs.
- Resilient and proactive in your approach.
- A recent graduate, ideally with a degree in Psychology (preferred but not mandatory).
- Prior experience working with children is beneficial but not required.
