We are looking for a Contract Management Officer.
Duties and responsibilities:
• To analyse and communicate information with commissioning colleagues and operational support staff to assist in strategic planning and ensure safe and effective service delivery.
• To carry out contract reviews and follow up reports across commissioned services, establishing and maintaining effective scheme review and inspection programmes to ensure high-quality, cost-effective services that safeguard vulnerable adults.
• To develop and maintain relationships with a range of partners and service users to ensure that the planning, monitoring, review, and delivery of contracted services ensures the ongoing provision of customer-focused, quality services.
• Assist in the development of specifications, contracts and procurement of services including accreditations and financial checks.
• To create documentation and implement systems for monitoring services, incorporating quality control and assurance, to ensure contract compliance.
• To undertake specific project work as directed by the Commissioning Officer or Director.
• To collect, prepare and analyse statistical and other information effectively to inform future service development as required.
• To assist with provider/market development and implementing best practice and new models of service delivery.
• To attend and contribute to meetings with Officers, Members, other statutory and independent agencies, service users and carers.
• Such other responsibilities allocated which are appropriate to the grade of the post.
The candidate must have:
• Health and Social Care policy and legislation.
• Regulation, monitoring and inspection frameworks.
• GCSE Math or English at Grade C/Level 5 or above or equivalent
• 2 A Levels or equivalent vocational qualification or relevant experience
• Communicating to a wide variety of individuals, including service users and senior colleagues.
• Developing effective working relationships.
• Ability to collect and analyse data and information.
• Producing written reports for internal and external dissemination.
• Decision making.
• The ability to work as an effective team member.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise own workload.
• Budget Management or highly developed numeracy skills.
• Competent in use of IT.
• Working in health and social care or community sector.
• Ability to demonstrate service improvement.
Pay Rate: £19 p/hr
