Are you a driven registered nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality dermatological care?

Join our supportive and inclusive team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust to enhance your knowledge and skills under the guidance and support of a brilliant team formed of Consultant Dermatologists, Dermatology Nurse Specialists, Skin Cancer Nurse Specialists, Administrative Staff and the other healthcare professionals.

As a specialist clinical nurse, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously in managing patient caseloads. You will embrace change and innovation and be dedicated to advancing practice through education and leadership.

You will demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities and be a professional role model for the team members. As a mentor, you will develop educational sessions and provide assistance to peers and individuals advancing within the service.

We are accepting all applicants who hold either an adult or paediatric nursing registration. A prescribing qualification would be desirable, but not essential. We are committed to providing you with the best training and research opportunities possible.

If you are looking for additional information or would like to have an informal conversation about this role, please contact Melanie Spani, Matron - Head and Neck on 01733677043 or at melanie.spani@nhs.net.

You will offer specialist support, advice, guidance and treatments to the patients while also monitoring the risk to patients on waiting lists.

You will be responsible for undertaking your own clinics.

Effective communication is paramount to your role. You will ensure that you will maintain effective communication with patients and their families, and the multidisciplinary team, in particular in challenging environments and situations.

You will implement your existing knowledge and skills and high level of clinical judgement to undertake complex and holistic assessment of the patients.

You will act independently to plan, deliver, monitor and evaluate complex care using enhanced clinical assessments, diagnostics, and interventions.

As a specialist in the field, you will create and deliver education and training opportunities for others within own scope of practice while promoting and encouraging innovative clinical practice to support a culture of excellence.

Our teams work hard to be flexible and promote a health work/home life balance and so, agile working options are automatically considered for all roles within the Trust.

We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds. We particularly encourage applications from disabled, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) and candidates from our local communities.

Your package with us includes a lot more than just your pay and here are a few of the additional benefits that are available to you as an employee:
• Access to the NHS Pension Scheme
• Relocation allowance in line with the Trust policy
• Generous Holiday Entitlement, starting at 27 days a year (for full time workers) plus bank/public holidays
• Free staff car parking on all our hospital sites during this financial year
• In-house Physiotherapy Services
• Career development and training opportunities
• Emotional Wellbeing Service covering a range of online support, access to mobile apps and 24/7 counselling services
• Subsidised meals at our hospital restaurants
• Access to exclusive discounts, cashback and vouchers via NHS Discounts and Blue Light Card

If you share our values and vision and are passionate about working with people on what matters to them, you could be a real asset to Team North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.
