Do you enjoy analysing data to provide valuable customer and business insights? Would you like the opportunity to be part of an award-winning, data-driven marketing team? We are looking for an experienced Marketing Analyst to join our dynamic team, producing vital customer and media insights. This is a hybrid role, 3 days working in our Nottingham offices and 2 days from home.

Join Hillarys, part of the Hunter Douglas Retail group, in an exciting role that spans multiple brands and countries. Ideal for individuals passionate about diving deep into customer insights and media performance, this role will be instrumental in driving progression across the wider marketing team. You will continuously evolve our web, media, campaign, and customer measurement strategies.

We are recruiting two positions to develop our expanding insights team – whilst we are looking for experienced Customer Insights Analysts, we are open to recruiting a Junior Analyst with the right skillset into one of the roles.

As Marketing Analyst here’s what you’ll be doing:

Understand complex data files – you’ll be attending regular meetings across the business to understand changes in business requirements and translate this into data requirements for the database and customer insight
Management of the customer database
Using the database in the most streamlined manner with high levels of service level agreements to our internal colleagues
Analysis of customer behaviours within regular reporting and complex ad-hoc projects
Producing targeted selections that are aligned to strategic objectives and financial planning
Planning and testing – Being an instrumental part of the weekly planning cycle and ensuring a robust testing plan
Managing customer feedback – Ensuring that customer feedback is used to its maximum benefit. The feedback comes in various sources and should be in a timely manner and insightful
Supporting media managers with improved selections and KPIs

Interested? Here’s what you’ll need:

Experience in customer insights within a retail business
Experience in managing customer data and the ability to understand how to optimise findings.
Experience of using analytical and reporting software such as Tableau (preferred), Alteryx, Alterian, Fast stats, Access or similar
Great presentation and communication skills
Analytical and a keen eye for detail
Commercially minded
Collaborative, with the ability to work well with other teams and senior leaders.

Analytical, data-driven and a keen eye-for detail is key for this role, with a “can-do” attitude and a passion for solving problems, this opportunity will allow someone to have great influence over the future strategy, whilst enjoying working autonomously.

You’ll be joining an experienced and sociable team, where you’ll get the chance to flourish and develop. This role gives you the chance to join a team that is always at the forefront of the market, so if you’re ready to make the next move in your career, this could be just what you’re looking for. You’ll receive a wide range of benefits, including generous colleague discount for you (and family and friends!), a healthcare and lifestyle benefits package and a wide range of wellbeing initiatives.

We understand that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach, and with this in mind, we are dedicated to providing an inclusive workplace where every colleague feels valued and comfortable to be their true self. If you require any reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process, please do let us know and we will be happy to accommodate.

Please note, the recruitment process for this will consist of two stages of interviews.

Everyone who applies will receive a response.
