Job DetailsUndergraduate Summer Placement - HR Administrator (Part-Time)

We’re looking for a University student for a 4 week summer placement in the Haven People Team. During the placement, you will work with the team to support HR administration and first line support to the People Team and Business Leaders across a number of key HR activities. You will be part of a team who manage HR administration relating to the full employee lifecycle.
This is a great opportunity to gain some hands-on HR experience that will help you to secure your first role in HR in the future.
Your Opportunity:
To learn, develop and become an expert in a key area of the business by:
- Managing the admin for the starter and leaver processes, including reference requests
- Providing admin support on the wider employee life cycle including promotions, transfers, family leave, leavers etc
- Handling and inputting confidential people data
- Liaising with stakeholders across the office and our 39 parks, maintaining a professional and friendly approach
Who you are:
- An undergraduate student with an interest in HR, currently studying for a degree which translates well to HR – eg Business, Psychology
- You’re very likely just finishing your first or second year of your degree
- You’re numerate and competent in the MS Office suite
- You live a commutable distance from our office in Hemel Hempstead
- You’ve got excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong attention to detail
