HOURS PER WEEK: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Gardener your role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and safety of the property. You are responsible for incident reporting, where you must promptly communicate any occurrences, mishaps, or maintenance activities to the Estate Manager or the Managing Agents. Maintenance oversight is also a critical part of your duties; you are expected to alert the Estate Manager about any property issues, health and safety concerns, security breaches, or malfunctioning lights. A key aspect of your daily routine is cleanliness maintenance, ensuring that the estate remains spotless, orderly, and secure, creating an inviting atmosphere for residents and guests. In addition, hazard removal is essential; any potentially dangerous or unsightly objects in shared spaces must be eliminated to uphold health and safety regulations. Above all, confidentiality is paramount; you must handle all interactions with residents and their visitors with the utmost discretion, safeguarding their privacy and trust at all times.
ABOUT YOU
To be a successful Estate Caretaker at Holborough Lakes, managed by RMG, you’ll need to be organized, have good manual and people skills, and experience in maintenance management. Familiarity with gardening, building maintenance, and physical fitness are also important. Excellent communication skills, relevant certifications, and previous caretaking experience will strengthen your application. This role is central to ensuring the community’s well-being and requires a proactive approach to maintain the estate’s safety, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere.
