Do you want to make a difference for children and families? We have a great opportunity for a Quality of Placements Officer to join our supportive team making sure we’re able to provide good quality placements such as fostering, residential and in supported accommodation.

Main Responsibilities

You will:

  • be responsible to the Market Relationship Manager to provide technical knowledge and expertise in relation to the regulatory framework and National Minimum Standards.
  • required to hold providers to account for service quality, monitoring provider quality and performance and taking the lead in addressing any concerns raised regarding a service provider.
  • work will require collecting, analysing and understanding data trends, to identify areas of improvement and implement them accordingly.
  • required to develop an effective process to encourage earlier, and more proactive conversations between Providers and Staffordshire’s placement service about any potential issues or risks that threaten the ongoing stability of a placement.
The Ideal Candidate

You’ll need to have:

  • the initiative to work independently
  • have excellent knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation around minimum standards for children’s homes, foster care and supported accommodation and be able to interpret legislation to ensure appropriate standards are monitored and maintained
  • the ability to analyse data and identify trends and areas we can improve
  • a valid UK drivers licence as you’ll need to undertake site visits across the county.
