Crynodeb
You will work as a member of the MDT in providing high quality, evidence-based, holistic care to patients in line with your professional code of conduct and Trust policies. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate NICE Guidance packages of care based upon individual patient needs, under the guidance of the Team Leader. As a Telecoach, you will provide clinical risk and mental state assessment, formulation and brief psychological interventions for people presenting in mental health crisis. Working mainly via telephone, Telecoaches are experts in validating, de-escalating crisis, and coaching people in distress tolerance and emotional regulation strategies. By using a range of brief psychological interventions, Telecoaches empower patients, carers and families to manage distress and crisis effectively.
