Welcome To your new role as a Registered Manager for a New LD Children's Residential Home in, Boulton Moor, Derby.
We are looking to have informal chats with Registered Managers, Deputy Managers, and Qualified Children's Social Workers.
This really is a phenomenal 4-bed house in a quiet area of Derby. Our full staffing team will ensure brighter futures for children.

The work environment is of high-quality and will accommodate a maximum of three young people to provide safe residential care which goes beyond the home environment;

The Directors have appointed an exceptional Responsible Individual with over 15 years' experience in the Children's Care Sector so will be an invaluable support for the newly appointed Registered Manager.

The Registered Manager we are looking to appoint will have some exceptional qualities and want to see the home and the staffing team succeed. We are looking for a real team player who will also coach and mentor their staff to inspire growth and independence to carve the way for more qualified and knowledgeable Deputy Managers and Support Workers.
To be considered for this opportunity we are looking for a Registered Manager who has stable employment within Children's Residential Homes or Supported Accommodation and has worked at management level for a minimum of three years.
Applications are welcome from qualified children's social workers with a BA (Hons) Degree in Social Work and have been working in the role as a children's social worker for at least 5 years.
Ideally you will already be Level 5 qualified in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or working towards to completion of this.
You will need to have a sound understanding of children and young people's development in residential childcare, lead practice to support the safeguarding and protection of children and young people, manage risk in residential childcare, lead and manage group living in residential childcare, lead a service that can support children and young people who have experienced harm or abuse, lead practice to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people in residential care, implement a Positive Relationship Policy in residential childcare, lead practice to support the wellbeing and resilience of children and young people in residential childcare, lead practice in safe use of digital, internet and mobile technology with children and young people, to undertake professional development in residential childcare settings, lead practice to promote the rights, diversity and equality of children and young people in residential childcare, lead networks and multi-agency work to benefit children and young people in residential childcare.
