You’ll have the chance to build on your excellent customer service skills, pioneer new processes and drive BCA forward as part of one big collaborative team.

The purpose of this role is to identify, retain and grow targeted franchise buyers. The role requires a drive to generate individual leads as well as a target portfolio of franchise buyers to grow, whilst always offering the highest levels of customer service. This could be a mixture of home /field /branch based.



Main Responsibilities


To predominantly grow the franchise volume, to enable the business to meet the wider growth objectives.
Use the BCA buyer database to identify franchise buyer opportunities and make appointments to promote BCA as the primary source of vehicles for their business.
Create, build and maintain successful working relationships with all relevant stakeholders including vendor representatives and internal colleagues to leverage relationships to maximise franchise participation and foster long term loyalty.
Ensure the appropriate BCA loyalty card is in place and encourage greater share of purchasing wallet.
Maintain a weekly and monthly log of visits and buyer attendance. (This will be mapped to purchases). This will also involve the effective feedback of market place intelligence and general Dealer sentiment.
Demonstrate BCA’s products and services including (but not limited to) Partner Finance, Part Exchange opportunity, AutosOnShow, Bid Now/Buy Now, DealerPro & Cinch.
Educate buyers with how to use our Online services including Live Online bidding, the buyer App, searching for stock and utilising self-collection portals.
Promote BCA online sales channels, supporting BCA Auction’s, Vendor programmes and online services.
Support the buyers in their buying and make sure you are their point of contact going forward to support their ongoing buying experience.
Create, build and maintain successful working relationships with Auction Centres / Customer Services and all other BCA businesses.
Gain customer insight from Buyers to help make recommendations that can improve marketing effectiveness, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Maintain a relationship with the National Accounts team and other stakeholders keeping them updated with buyer contact activities and requirements.
Attend training courses to improve product knowledge and self-development, as well as site visits to understand all areas of the business.
Attend industry events when required.


To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:


New Business/Business Development/Account Management experience desirable.
Automotive sector background an advantage.
Demonstration skills.
Good relationship building skills.
Self-starter.
