Are you an individual with a passion for supporting people with substance misuse and mental health issues?
The Role
This exciting role will require a Dual Diagnosis Practitioner to deliver excellent evidence-based drugs and alcohol support to those who use our services, their significant others including family members, friends and carers experiencing substance misuse issues and mental health conditions (dual diagnosis).
This role will manage a protected case load of people with a dual diagnosis and coordinate and deliver assessments and evidence-based interventions (brief and structured), recovery planning and aftercare planning.
The Service
Via Brent, New Beginnings is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing psychosocial and clinical interventions in partnership with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL). The service is based across 2 hubs; Cobbold Road and the Willesden Centre for Health. The team actively promotes recovery and works with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Brent residents, irrespective of circumstance.
Location
This post will be based across both New Beginnings Hubs as well as remotely across the borough including at Central Middlesex Hospital at least once a week.
