About this role…
We are looking for a Senior Practitioner to join the Single Point of Access Team.
The Lambeth Living Well Network Alliance supports people in Lambeth experiencing mental illness. Thames Reach works in partnership with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Lambeth NHS Clinical Commissioning Group, Lambeth Council and Certitude to deliver mental health services as part of the innovative transformation of mental health services in the borough.
The Single Point of Access team was set up as an open door to the adults’ mental health system in Lambeth. Whereby anyone could self-introduce or be introduced to the SPA by a professional or loved one.
This post will contribute to key Alliance outcomes of the ‘Big 3 Outcomes’ which were previously identified by local people during a number of co-production events. These are:
1. To recover and stay well
2. To make their own choices
3. To participate on an equal footing in daily life
You will:
.Oversee day to day operations and provide line management and supervision to support workers
.Provide line management and supervision to the administrative team
.Triage clients over the phone and record data on computer database
.Be able to navigate multiple systems including using client databases and Microsoft Excel, and a range of software packages
To succeed as the Senior Practitioner you will have:
.Outcome focussed and able to foster a culture of high performance and continual striving to improve upon successes throughout your team
.An excellent communicator able to form and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
.Confident in your ability to support clients, and oversee the casework of staff
.Responsive and flexible to the needs of the team and the clients
