Crynodeb
SWIFT Temps Ltd Industrial Recruitment Division are currently recruiting for an Order Picker -Keighley Permanent.
Duties include
• Using scanners, barcodes and serial numbers to locate the correct items for and to ensure that inventory is managed accurately
• Picking items from the warehouse, packaging completed orders
• Completing necessary invoicing or paperwork to allow efficient tracking of orders
• Unloading deliveries from delivery lorries and assisting with the distribution of goods to their correct storage locations
• Restocking shelves using items from storage areas to ensure inventories are always full
• Meeting picking speed and efficiency targets as specified by Supervisors
• Performing warehouse cleaning duties if necessary
Experience Required
• Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar role preferred.
• Good numeracy & literacy skills
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and tools is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
Working hours 7am to 5pm, to work 5 days over 6 from Monday to Saturday on a rotational basis week, 40-48 hours per week
Pay rate £12.30 per hour, rising to £12.63 per hour upon successful completion of a 6 month probationary period.
£250 bonus upon successful completion of a 6 month probationary period.
