Job description
One of London’s most dynamic Accounting and Advisory firms, renowned for its rapid growth and a robust client base of over 2000, is seeking a Corporate Governance Officer. This position is critical in supporting the firm's expansive and diverse clientele by providing specialized corporate governance and company secretarial services.
Role Overview:
Administer comprehensive corporate governance and secretarial services to a broad array of clients.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of Confirmation statements and reflect any client changes over the fiscal year.
Build and maintain robust relationships with clients across various global jurisdictions and industries.
Play a key role in major corporate initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.
Offer a range of services including company incorporations, data protection compliance, and company dissolutions.
Provide expert advice on corporate governance matters and compliance with the Companies Act.
Handle statutory document preparation and filing, ensuring all corporate records are maintained and up-to-date.
Collaborate closely with external partners such as legal advisors, accountants, and financial institutions to coordinate KYC and PSC documentation.
Essential Qualifications:
Significant experience in a Corporate Governance or Senior Company Secretarial role, preferably within the financial services sector.
In-depth understanding of company secretarial duties and corporate governance frameworks.
Exceptional skills in drafting formal documentation, including minutes, with a keen eye for detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to forge and sustain professional relationships, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in managing teams and external outsourcing partnerships, with a proven track record in statutory compliance.
Holder of the ICSA qualification or equivalent.
