As a statutory and regulatory service, we play a pivotal role in delivering land for housing and employment aligned with our Local Plan.

We’re embarking on an exciting transformation journey, and we want passionate professionals to join us. Last year, we initiated an ambitious transformation program, backed by a £1 million investment in additional staffing to elevate our services. This is your chance to be part of something big.

Our Strategic Planning Service comprises teams working on exciting projects like reviewing the Local Plan, preparing our Minerals and Waste plans, determining planning applications for minerals and waste developments, supporting our communities to produce Neighbourhood Plans, and measuring the performance of our development plans.

We are recruiting to a range of new positions across the various disciplines which are structured so that employees can progress as they gain more education and experience. The roles offered are:

Senior Planning Officer: Leading the Way - £40,221 - £42,403 - Role description and person specification

Level 2 Planning Officer: Empowering Change - £34,834 - £36,648 – Policy Role description and person specification & Development Management Role description and person specification
