Summary
Houghtons Funeral Directors are a compassionate funeral service provider committed to supporting families during difficult times.
We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Funeral Operatives to join our team in our Great Sankey Office. The ideal candidate’s duties will include
• Driving one of the hearses
• Helping to carry the coffin
• Assisting funeral directors with their duties
• Bringing the deceased into our funeral home in and out of office hours
• Preparing the deceased for viewings and the funeral service
• Overseeing chapel visits in and out of office hours
• Maintaining the cleanliness and high standard of facilities and ceremonial vehicles
• Care of floral tributes and the deceased’s personal effects
• Collecting and preparing coffins and caskets
