Summary
The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading plastic manufacturing company in Poole, for a Machine Setter/Operator to run the Thermoforming production lines. Working set shift patterns is a requirement of the role and will include night work.
Responsibilities: Carry out tool & insert changes correctly to SOCs Ensure thermoforming machinery is running to standard cycle speed Clean granulators, lines, towers, loaders and blenders between colour/formulation changes Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards in the work area and around machines at all times. Keep plastic properly separated - no mixed plastics of different colour or paper/absorbent pads/bubble pads when granulating Ideal candidate: Previous experience in a similar role highly advantageous Able to work on your feet for long periods of time Happy to work set shift patterns including night shifts Working hours:
Shift patterns are: Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6am-6pm Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday 6am-6pm Week 3 (Night Shifts) Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6pm-6am Week 4 (Night Shifts) Wednesday, Thursday 6pm-6am Pay Rate: £14.30ph
Temp to perm position for the right candidate.
