Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance and Continuous Improvement Lead to join our client's engineering team. This full-time maintenance role is based in the Telford area and offers an attractive salary and benefits package.
As a Maintenance and Continuous Improvement Lead, you will report directly to the Site Engineering Manager. The working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday.
As Maintenance and Continuous Improvement Lead you will have 4 PPM engineers report directly to you:
• Implement and effectively establish key engineering processes
• Actively seek to deliver the most cost-effective maintenance program to meet the site's safety, quality and performance demands
• Plan, improve and execute maintenance of site equipment to improve reliability
• Support operations by analysing and developing recommendations regarding failures and lost production
• Lead and implement proactive maintenance and reliability, production excellence and continuous improvement activities
To be successful in the role of Maintenance and Continuous Improvement Lead your experience should include:
• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or ONC / HNC or equivalent in either Mechanical or electrical disciplines
• Planning engineering requirements and activities by establishing priorities, scheduling, assigning work and communicating with area staff and stakeholders frequently and within timelines
• Effective problem-solving knowledge and ability to work under own initiative in a high-speed environment
• Previous Continuous Improvement experience and practical experience implementing preventative maintenance schedules
• Significant experience in leading and developing a team
