Job description
Step Teachers are working with a school that strives to create well-rounded, responsible individuals who seize opportunities, discover their passions and love to learn throughout life, to find a Year 2 Supply Teacher to join their team from the 20th of June 2024. The Year 2 Teacher will be supporting a class of well-behaved and enthusiastic Primary level pupils. The Year 2 Teacher should be passionate and ready to engage with their students, contributing to the school's polite, friendly and safe educational atmosphere.
This role is for Fridays only.
Year 2 Teacher - Role:
- Able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
- Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
- Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
- Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Year 2 Teacher - Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Have recent experience as a Primary level Supply Teacher – Key Stage 1.
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
