Breadsall Hill Top Primary is seeking to appoint an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our existing team. We are looking for excellent teaching practitioners with, not only high expectations of pupil progress, but also a drive for self-development. The successful applicants will be initially joining our 2 year old nursery and play a key role in our two-form entry school, not only in raising attainment, but most importantly helping our children to be happy, safe and secure and creating great memories for our children.
You would be joining Breadsall at an exciting time as we continue to work hard to be the school of choice for our community and provide our children with the highest quality education that enables them to fulfil their potential, discover new talents and develop a love for learning.
We are looking for an inspirational Early Years Teaching Assistant who is committed to creating a stimulating learning environment through excellent classroom practice and a passion for supporting in the delivery of great teaching and learning. You will:
• Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and be proficient in supporting the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning and child-initiated learning• Be flexible and resourceful whilst always putting the needs of the child first • Be reflective, enjoy challenge and embrace support• Care passionately about making a difference to every child and their holistic development• Have up to date knowledge of the importance of nurturing and the impact it has on the outcomes for children• Support the capacity of the school as we continue to seek rapid improvement across all key stages.• Value a team working approach and be keen to contribute and share your skills with colleagues to add value to BHTP• Have good interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers and children
