Care Assistant - Adult Residential
Description
We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as a Care Assistant in our adult residential facility. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to residents with various medical needs. Responsibilities
Assisting residents with their daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Providing medication reminders and assisting with medication administration
Monitoring and documenting vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team
Assisting residents with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques
Ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents, including maintaining cleanliness in living areas
Assisting with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences
Providing emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a positive and engaging atmosphere
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential care setting
Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and procedures
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Compassionate and patient approach when working with residents
Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting with transfers
Varied Shifts Pattern:
Hours Per Week:
Start Time: 08:00; 15:00; 22:00
End Time: 14:00; 22:00; 07:00
Pay Per Hour: £11.44
Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
