Summary
Due to our ongoing success, we now have a vacancy for a Shift Extruder Operator
The role will involve all aspects of operating an extrusion line whether from ‘cold’ or picking up from the previous shift.
Working in a safe manner to meet output targets and quality standards are key to this position.
Previous experience in extrusion machinery or a similar production process environment would be an advantage, and you must be able to work the shift pattern detailed below.
A mechanical aptitude would be an advantage, however, team-working, numeracy and a flexible attitude to learning new skills are essential.
Shift Pattern:
Week One 4 x 12-hour days Monday – Wednesday 5.50 a.m. – 6.00 pm (7.00am start on Monday. 4.00 p.m. finish on Thursday)
Week Two 3 x Nights Monday – Wednesday 5.50 p.m. – 6.00 a.m.
