We are looking for a new Teacher to support the next generation of public service professionals with their learning journey. This post is open to TRAINEE and NEWLY QUALIFIED Teachers. The department is broad and varied, and we look forward to hearing from candidates with experience in any of the following: Criminology, Military Preparation, Outdoor Adventure or Policing.

The Sport, Esport, Public Services and Travel & Tourism department at Barnsley College has an exciting opportunity for a Public Services teacher to provide support to our students at this critical time in their education. The successful candidate will support the planning and structure of provision, delivery of teaching and learning activities, promote independent learning outside of the classroom and provide additional, extended, 1:1 and group learning and study activities across the curriculum area.

We are looking for a Public Services Teacher that is learner and quality focused, students will be stretched and challenged to achieve their full potential and you will accept nothing other than outstanding outcomes and levels of performance. You should have the ability to quickly build rapport with students using a variety of assessment techniques and keep accurate records of attendance and progress. Our new Public Services Teacher will play a vital role in supporting our student’s achievement and contributing to them progressing to further education employment and promising futures.
