West Dunbartonshire Council has a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join us as an Apprentice Electrician.

The Modern Apprentice will join the Council's Maintenance and Repairs team who are responsible for carrying out in excess of 60,000 repairs/alterations, capital investment improvements and safety checks to Tenant & Owner Occupied properties factored by West Dunbartonshire Council each year, among other projects.

This Modern Apprentice Electrician will work across the West Dunbartonshire area.

We welcome applications if you are aged 16-24 years (or up to age 29, if you are disabled or care experienced), a resident within West Dunbartonshire and have a minimum 3 National 4’s to include English, Maths or a science or a technical practical subject.

This is a training contract and is fixed term until 27/08/2028.

Interviews for these positions will take place between Wednesday 24th, Thursday 25th and Friday 26th July 2024.
