Chandlers Field Primary School has started a new and exciting journey for learners as we develop our provision for children with SEN. We opened a Centre specialising in high level communication and interaction needs, in September 2021. The High COIN SEN Unit will help to realise the local area’s ambition to ensure availability of specialist school places that are matched appropriately to need type, phases of education and geographic locations.
You will be part of a small team of SEN specialists and will have the unique opportunity of contributing to the development of a high-quality provision.

We are a caring school where the children are warmly received by everyone and encouraged, throughout their time with us, to aim high and engage with all the opportunities the school offers.
The successful candidates will:
Be actively supportive of the ethos, vision and values of the school
Have experience working with children with ASC and associated communication difficulties
Be an excellent communicator
Have a creative approach to ensuring that all children progress and achieve, regardless of their needs.
Work flexibly as part of a committed team
Make a significant contribution to the wider life of the school
Bring qualities, skills and talents to the staff team
We can offer the successful candidate:
A term time only role for 38.6 weeks per year (term time and 3 inset days)
Support in his/her role from the Headteacher, SLT, colleagues and the governing body.
Opportunities, support and encouragement to undertake further professional development.
Good transport links with free onsite parking.
Access to occupational health, employee assistance and a weekend email curfew as part of our staff wellbeing practices.
