Teaching and Learning Support Assistant
Contracted Hours: minimum 15 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (with some scope to increase dependent on school need)
Salary: NJC Grade 4 Spinal Point 7 (pro rata)
We are looking to appoint an excellent and highly-motivated member of staff to join our school community as soon as possible. Bishop Perrin Church of England Primary School is a warm and welcoming, successful one-form entry school based in Whitton, Twickenham. We have a friendly, dedicated staff team, along with supportive governors and parents, and we pride ourselves on excellent pupil behaviour.
We are looking for an inspirational, nurturing and highly-motivated teaching and learning support assistant who is passionate about improving outcomes for children of all abilities.
The successful candidate will:
Be patient, kind and nurturing
Have high expectations for all children of all abilities, but particularly those with SEND, applying a range of strategies to support, motivate and engage children in the learning process to secure excellent progress and attainment
Have the confidence to support the class teacher in classroom management to ensure the highest expectations of attainment, progress and behaviour
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Have initiative, imagination, creativity and a positive approach
Be willing to contribute to the full life of the school
Be committed to their own professional development
