We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our supportive and talented team at The Sky Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.   The Sky Academy is a special school supporting young people in years 5 – 11 with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs or Speech Language and Communcation needs. We have recently become part of CLF, a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning. 
What we are looking for: To be successful in the post, we are looking for someone who will work as part of a team assisting in the preparation, cooking and serving of hot and cold food for students, staff and visitors to the Academy.  This role will primarily focus on delivering and serving meals to a local primary school we support and to contribute to ensuring the lunchtime period is a positive experience for all. However, these duties may need to be amended at times to ensure appropriate cover and therefore the catering assistant will undertake all aspects of kitchen duties as directed by their line manager. If you would like to arrange a school visit prior to the closing date, please contact the academy directly to arrange a suitable appointment.  Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving licence is essential.
