A Vacancy at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for dynamic team members to help lead our out-patient musculoskeletal services. Our service is evolving and we are looking to develop our senior clinical support for patients, services and staff across all areas of MSK physiotherapy.

One of the roles in particular will focus on the leading and delivery of the haemophilia specialist services alongside being part of the senior MSK team within secondary care. This will involve team leading and delivering services across core MSK services of which could include first contact practitioner roles, pain services, occupational health and orthopaedic clinics.

We are a large group of clinicians who have access to gym and hydrotherapy facilities and who treat a range of presentations varying from chronic pain to acute trauma and post-surgery. You will have opportunities to gain experience with a varied caseload of patients and lead on developing the specialist haemophilia service for adults.

You will have proven knowledge and skills in the management of musculoskeletal therapy and be expected to lead in service development and evaluation, student training and staff appraisal, as well as manage a caseload of patients. You will also participate on our orthopaedic weekend rota.

The team is friendly and dedicated towards the delivery of an excellent service for all our users, as well as constantly looking at better ways to provide a service. The team is also well supported by access to Specialists in pain, pelvic health, paediatrics, oncology, neurology and exercise rehabilitation.

You will be strongly supported in learning new skills and gaining additional training, including the requirements for undertaking the lead role within haemophilia services. Please do contact us to discuss the opportunities available. This role could be considered as band 6-7 developmental role for the right candidate. We have both permanent and fixed term opportunities to join our team.
