VACANCY
THEATRE TECHNICIAN
We are looking for an experienced Theatre Technician to assist in the production process and smooth running of events, rehearsals, and productions, for Glasgow Clyde College Acting and Music Performance department.
You will have excellent lighting and sound skills. Rigging, focussing and stage fit up experience in a professional capacity are essential. You will be responsible for the safe setup of equipment as well as its maintenance. Set construction, prop making and set painting are desirable although not essential.
You should have a positive and collaborative outlook, and the ability to forge supportive relationships with a wide range of users of the theatre and other spaces within the theatre building.
This dynamic role represents an opportunity to play a vital part in the preparation and execution of sector-leading theatre projects and productions.
The successful candidate will join a highly ambitious faculty known for its high production values, and provides the opportunity to work on a diverse and exciting range of projects.
