Opportunity…
This is an exciting opportunity for you to be part of helping Britain achieve net zero. Supporting our Nuclear teams responsible for the operations of our nuclear sites across the UK, as well as the construction of HPC (Hinkley Point C). Both are mega infrastructure Nuclear New Build projects; each project will provide low carbon electricity for 6 million homes for 60 years in the UK.
Come and join us in one of our Area Integration team as either a Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
As an engineer within this team, you will, review and develop construction sequences for structures, systems, and components within their designated area; from manufacturing completion through to site construction, erection and commissioning ensuring that the sequence supports key schedule milestones.
As we have a number of opportunities within the team, we are open to review applications from Civil, Mechanical or Electrical background. All we ask is you have strong technical engineering skills and interest in the Integration field.

What you’ll be doing… You will;
- Review the construction schedule to ensure that identified sequence can be implemented in conjunction with related structures, systems, and other constraints.
- Review availability of materials and equipment to assess project readiness to commence works.
- Support resolution of “hotspots” to maintain the overall schedule milestones where necessary supporting “Best For Project” decision making.
- Provide oversight of the Project’s application of “Delivery Work Pack” & “Interface Data Sheet” procedures. Who you are…
You will need strong technical engineering skills based on Civil, Electrical or Mechanical engineering disciplines ideally on large engineering/infrastructure projects. An understanding of construction industry. You will need effective project experience in your mechanical or electrical discipline, with knowledge of design work, site-based operations and construction or commissioning.You’ll be motivated, self-starting and pragmatic with the ability to work across multiple discipline teams in driving the development, implementation and resolution of technical topics and issues. You will also understand the bigger picture and be able to develop and execute innovative approaches to delivery, for the benefit of the project.If the above sounds like you, then we’d love to hear from you!
