Job description
Job duties: Express Workforce require cable pullers to work within the school grounds at a location (Great Ouseburn) between York and Harrogate . North Yorks. 14 miles from Ripon.
MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT TO GET TO GREAT OUSEBURN.
Duties: Assisting with basic IT installations and (CAT 5) cable pulling on new commercial buildings within school classrooms and other areas. Helping trades and senior levels, and general computer cable installations. Feeding cables through desks & walls to computers etc. There will be manual work. You will be using hand drills and other tools for this position.
You will need some experience in a similar type of IT related job preferably, but specific training relating to this job will be provided.
You will be required to pass a DBS check but this can be done quickly initially via an online portal link. 20 mins to complete.
Hours: 8am to 4:30 pm Mon/Friday
Duration: 6 months+ to Ongoing contract
Start: ASAP - June 2024
Rate: £17.00 basic rate per hour
Own transport to site required.
