Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Community Tissue Viability & Infection Prevention Team for a Leg Ulcer Specialist Nurse. If you are a dynamic individual that embraces new challenges, then this is the job for you. This post will base in the Trafford community initially but with the future development of the service will expand to cover Manchester area.

Join this innovative team and be part of driving and improving standards for patients and contributing to new strategies in the field of lower limb management. This rewarding role allows you as a practitioner to share your knowledge and skills with others around you ensuring best practice is at the centre of the care we deliver.

As a professional role model you will provide direct and indirect clinical are, ensuring the needs of the patient are central to service delivery.

S/he will monitor and improve standards of care through, supervision of practice, clinical audit, evidence-based practice, teaching and supporting professional colleagues

This post will focus on embedding best practice across the community in the area of leg ulceration and lower limb wounds.

The role will be to support the leg ulcer clinic and will be focused on providing specialist advice for patient's receiving care in Clinic, and patient homes.

Be a part of improving the quality of life for our leg ulcer patients, by reducing their time to heal.
