About the role
To work as part of a team to contribute to the utilisation of the Academy premises and associated facilities for both educational and allied usage and maintain the premises in a clean, safe, secure and well maintained state. This includes security, cleanliness, routine maintenance and refurbishment, minor repairs, liaising with external contractors and to carry out pre-planned maintenance programmes.
25 hours per week - 52 weeks a year

Who we are looking for

5 GCSE at C grade or above including Maths and English
Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills
Significant experience of skills in a trade
The ability to understand and apply regulations such as health and safety, manual handling, COSHH, Legionella, etc.
Good communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the Academy
Be able to work under pressure and prioritise your own workload
Ability to manage own time effectively and demonstrate initiative including establishing priorities
Display a conscientious and logical approach to the variety of tasks necessary for the smooth running of the Academy
