Job Description
An opportunity has arisen to lead the team delivering a broad range of information, systems and improvement services for Education and Children’s Services.
You will ensure that a cycle of service level self-evaluation is undertaken and feeds into service level planning, with associated oversight of performance management within Education and Children’s Services allowing the service to take data driven decisions.
You will lead the improvement framework for Education and Children’s services, sharing your knowledge of improvement tools and co-ordinating service level change and transformation projects.
You will have the lead responsibility for the operation of the schools management information system including system support, training and implementation of new developments.
You will be the service lead for records management and data protection for Education and Children’s Services with responsibility for responses to individual Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests.
You should have a relevant degree, considerable experience of managing a multi-disciplined team and of analysing and interpreting data to improve services. You should have experience of developing a strategic approach to service planning and delivery, and the ability to form collaborative working relationships. Relevant experience in local government or the public sector would be advantageous.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
