Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer for a Production Planner. This would be a full time, permanent position based out of the company’s site in East Kilbride.
Becoming a vital member of the team you will be tasked with planning and scheduling production materials, ensuring on time delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
• Confirm lead times for new orders.
• Add orders to production schedule.
• Working on SAP
• Communication with other departments in relation to documentation and required materials.
• Provide planning updates to management and production team.
• Work towards KPIs
• Assist with external audits.
Essential Skills and Experience
• Production planning experience
• Experience using SAP or a similar ERP.
• IT literate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in an electrical assembly environment is desirable, although not essential.
