The Retreat Care Home is known for its compassionate and caring staff. We are looking for a friendly & reliable person to assist our residents so that they can live life to the full in the comfort of our safe and well-maintained home.
We put people at the heart of everything we do and that includes our staff. 1 Full Time HCA required- 36 hours + per week covering both day and night shifts.
Shifts will run from:
7am-3pm, 3pm-10pm and 7am/pm-7am/pm
Alternate weekends will be required.
Staff benefits include:

- Free Care Certificate training with ongoing in house training and development
- Cooked meals provided whilst on shift for a small donation
- Paid breaks
Duties:
- Medication administration
- Provide clients personal hygiene by giving baths/strip washes, help with toileting.
-Provide for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding clients as necessary; ambulating, turning and positioning clients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
- Maintain clients stability by checking vital signs and body mass; testing urine; recording input and output information.
-Provide client comfort by utilising resources and materials; transporting clients; answering call bells and requests; reporting observations of the clients to the care manager.
-Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.
- Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures.
- Protect organisations values by keeping client information confidential.
