Summary
Conveyancing Assistant will be required to use case management system. They will also be required to:-
Assisting with conveyancing matters
Assisting with admin preparation
Assisting with obtaining and distributing updates to progress transactions
Drafting letters, contracts and transfers
Undertaking searches
Dealing with clients on the telephone, in person and in writing in a professional, helpful and friendly manner
Opening files and inputting new instructions onto the case management system
Updating the case management system as the matter progresses
Closing files
Working Week :- Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.15pm
Desired skills required:- Strong Communication skills both written and verbal, ability to work as part of a team,
attention to detail, ability and willingness to learn, strong organisation skills, good IT skills.
Desired Personal Qualities:- Discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications Required:- 5 GCSE’s graded A-C or equivalent including Maths and English Language
Future prospects/Career prospects:- Progression to fee earner managing own case load of client matters.
Apprenticeship standard:- Business administrator Level 3
