Crynodeb
Setting up/stripping down parts according to requirements/drawing spec. Chemical additions to tanks as recommended by analysis data. Record keeping of additions/mist suppressant as each addition is made. Ensuring connections are secure/maintaining equipment, noting & reporting any faults. Plating/calculating Amps/Volts required based on dimensions/surface area of parts. Anode wiring/jig creation. Completion of relevant paperwork post completion of job & hand over to Office. Weekly calibration of all micrometres to ensure accuracy is maintained. Keeping work station & units tidy as required. Liaise with Office & other Staff Members/Director to ensure relevant information is passed on & actioned if required. Counterbalance License useful. If applicable: completion of daily inspections reports for Fork Truck. Candidate will ensure full compliance with all H&S/REACH regulations & requirements. Willingness to assist of members of staff in their duties/covering annual leave. e.g. Goods In/Out. Willingness to learn/train in other roles within the company e.g. Polishing, Welding & General Maintenance.
All practical training will be given in house, further online training could be made available for any suitable candidate. A willingness to ask further questions if unsure of task/procedure would be a valuable asset as would be time keeping & time management as some jobs are time critical & require additional procedures within a set time limit post plating. All PPE would be provided. A basic skill set in maths would be required.
