Arun Lodge is looking to recruit an additional senior carer to work opposite our current Senior. The role of senior carer is an important one in a successfully run care home and the successful candidate must have care experience and at least a level 3 NVQ.
If successful your role will be to support the management team and be able to lead the care staff in their daily roles. You will be responsible for updating care plans, administering and booking in of medications, liaising with health professionals, inducting new staff and perform supervisions of staff, recognising any training needs. The role is a varied one and will also involve day to day personal care and support with the residents, light housekeeping duties and some food preparation. Due to the nature of the work a full, clean driving licence would be preferred but not essential.
The hourly rate will be from £13.50 depending on your qualifications and experience, the role does include working alternate weekends. Staff pension and staff reward scheme are also available.
