Do you have a passion for teaching? Are you interested in developing your research skills within a multidisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians?

In this exciting role you will work support the delivery of teaching and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students within the Department of Dental Public Health. Dental Public Health is the science and art of preventing oral diseases and promoting oral health to the population. It is a diverse discipline, you would work alongside an internationally recognised team of educators and researchers who are specialists in clinical dentistry, psychology, sociology and public health.

This role will help you learn about and develop skills to support the delivery of lectures, tutorials and examinations, and support the ongoing programme and module review. We will support you to undertake an education award, if required; Professional Recognition in Student Education (PRiSE). PRiSE aligns to the UK Professional Standards Framework and can strengthen your teaching credentials.

You will have a master’s degree in a relevant subject that aligns with Dental Public Health. Experience of teaching students at undergraduate or postgraduate level is desirable but not essential. You will demonstrate interpersonal and time management skills and have the capacity to infuse others with enthusiasm. You will be able to work as part of team and have communication and administrative skills.
