Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Lawyer - Grade I to join our team. As a Lawyer - Grade I, you will play a crucial role in providing legal guidance, advice, and representation to our clients. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as your strong attention to detail, will be instrumental in ensuring the best outcome for our clients. Additionally, your ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, will be essential in effectively advocating for our clients' interests.

Responsibilities
Represent clients in legal proceedings, such as trials and hearings
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal matters
Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and prepare legal documents
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
Advise clients on potential risks and legal implications of proposed actions
Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and handle complex legal matters
Monitor and stay up-to-date on changes in legislation and case law that may impact clients
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice law in [state/jurisdiction]
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a lawyer, preferably in Children Services.
Strong analytical and research skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency in legal research databases and other legal software


Solicitor, Barrister or FILEX with an interest in public law child care work and associated social care advice. The post will suit someone with experience of this area of work whether in the public sector or private sector with relevant advocacy experience in the Family Courts. You will deliver expert legal support to client services on complex child protection matters by telephone or at meetings without prior knowledge of the facts. You will need to demonstrate professionalism as well as excellent communication and drafting skills together with a flexible and positive approach and an ability to work under pressure. You will have the ability to inspire confidence in clients and the courts. You will be a team player, building excellent relationships within the immediate team and client departments, as well as having the ability to work on your own.
