Post Title: Project Officer (Active Travel)
Location: Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £37,146 - £40,258 p.a.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To support the delivery of Active Travel projects within the Highland Council Area to meet agreed objectives and targets. Supporting the Active Travel Team Leader in the overall programme management delivery. Preparing and maintaining accurate project documentation including financial reporting. The postholder will also lead on designing, implementing, and evaluating behaviour change initiatives to address specific Active and Sustainable Travel goals or challenges.

Significant experience of working in project and programme environments.

Experience of working with and reporting on complex financial data.

Evidence of higher education.
